Longitudinal Cutting Machine with Automatic Width Adjustment

Process:	In the longitudinal cutting machine between 2 and 6 crush cutting knifes will be automatically positioned by an electro-mechanical width adjustment. The requested cut widths will be entered into a control panel. The PLC calculates the corresponding distances and adjust the knifes on cutting position. At the same time follows a plausibility check , if the entered single values can be realised by consideration of to total material width.
Advantage:	An automatically width adjustment is specially then advantageous, if short lengths have to be cut in widths, which change very often or if the width of the Material, which has to be cut, don’t make a manually knife adjustment possible. Furthermore the longitudinal cutting unit can be integrated in existing lines for modernisation without difficulties.
Technology:	Crush cutting system is pneumatically pressed against shaft with hardened surface.
